What I loved most about this experience was the ease of presenting the e-ticket, and of course seeing the inside of the monastery, it is truly beautiful. The bad thing, the waiting time to enter, today I had a long line at 11 am and I was able to enter until 12:50 pm.

The place is beautiful and worth the experience. Arrive very early, or after 1pm, to avoid huge queues. Wear sunscreen and bring a hat.

Had a wonderful visit to the monestry. Avoided the early queues by going mid afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful cloisters without too many others spoiling the views!! Only dispappointment was to find the Church closed due to renovation work, so check before visiting.
The tickets were easy to purchase on line through this site. The Jeronimous monastery is worth the visit. This intricate, stunning architecture is incredible to see close up.
Queue went down very quickly so not waiting for long to get in. Stunning building. The architecture was so beautiful and detailed. Very calm and cool inside the cloisters as well. Plenty opportunity and space to take pictures. Certainly worth a visit. Also went to the church next door. Also beautiful.
Beautiful and inspirational! Purchase your tickets online and the early time slot is the best. We arrived 20min prior to the 9:30 first showing and we were in the Monestary by 9:40. I did notice that the line got considerably longer and longer throughout the day. Definitely recommend visiting!
Although the queue at the entrance was very long, the entry times were not long. Jeronimus Monastery is a tourist attraction not to be missed.

The monastery is magnificent. The interior is truly splendid, and the facade is also very impressive. The church is quite pretty. The visit is quick. But it's very crowded. Estimated waiting time was 2 hours. But fortunately, families with strollers get priority access without having to queue! Thank you for this.

The tour guides were amazing- Martin and Marta. We learned so much about the monastery. They were warm, friendly, and passionate .
Our guides - Martin and Leanor were fantastic! Very informative, kind, and funny! Highly recommend the maritime museum as well!
Our guide, Fredrico Perrinos was amazing. His knowledge of the history and symbolism of the monastery was outstanding. I highly recommend the tour.
Amazing place. Was worried about getting in there since there was such a long line but it seems if you go later in the day the line isn't as long
The monastery was lovely but small and we could not get access to the church. A two hour wait in the queue was not worth it. Why not have a booking system?
the monastery has a very particular architecture, the patios are a marvel, as well as its cathedral. as well as the cathedral. what is not understood if it is with time what is the sense of having that tremendous line in the access.

Good experience but credit card did not work well the first time and had to use a different one which was frustrating. This experience should take Discover card for payment. Tickets were sent promptly. Wait was rather long though which was frustrating.
A visit to the monastery is definitely a highlight. Every visitor to Lisbon should have it on their itinerary. The waiting time was manageable, in any case the afternoon is the best time to visit. Public transport connections are great. What was not so good was the consistency of the audio guide with the tour. The description was very detailed but not everything was accessible.
View original review in German
Overall, the information provided was helpful, and the suggestions from other visitors were valuable. We arrived early to ensure we were among the first to visit. The Audio guide was easy to use. However, some areas were closed, and it seems that access to the Monastery may vary over time. The church side did not open until 10:30 AM, which we were unaware of. We took our time exploring the first half, but by the time we exited, a long line had already formed for the church visit. Seeing the queue, we decided to forgo the visit. It would have been helpful if the audio guide had included a note about the opening time.
The most difficult thing was the long entrance line Everyone wanted to enter and cut in the front The guards often gave into the pushy customers The time reservations were not controlled. People with tickets for 11:00 am we're entering at 9:30 am
No lines, no guesswork! Just you, a small group, and an expert unlocking monastery secrets.

Frederico (?) was awesome. Probably the second best tour guide I have ever met. He made it very interesting by reciting stories. He was ably assisted by his student, Gabriela (?).
Rita was awesome. She showed us back alleyways with restaurants and other interesting things. Provided a great history of Portugal and Lisbon.
Guide was enthusiastic engaging and earnest in communicating the history and significance for the notable structural features throughout the tour.
Our guide Federico gave us a very detailed tour of the monastery and the church. It was a worthwhile experience; if you want a comprehensive and entertaining tour of the premises, Federico is the right person for you!

Perfect experience!!! We spent 3 days in Lisbon and bought LisboaCard which allowed us to discover the city and region without stress. Everything is included in LisboaCard, metro, bus, streetcar and even the train to Sintra! You can visit museums for free and get 10% off your bill in restaurants! A great experience!

Without buying tickets I can travel everywhere in Lasboa, where I want. I spent money and time. It is a good idae and choice for travel. I can suggest this Card for new visitors in Lisbao.
Greatest part was that we could climb almost everywhere, even the places we didn't know exist but found them accidentaly
The autonomy that gives you to have a card with which you can access transport without problem and a lot of monuments. They should consider the option of making a card for four days, we missed the last day and we would have loved to have Lisbon Card.
View original review in Spanish
The lisboa card is a good solution that allows you to get around the city and see various attractions while also often skipping the ticket booth line. It's just too bad that pickup is tied to a physical operator and daytime office hours, if you arrive at night you will pick it up the next day.
View original review in Italian
The ticket for the palace The ticket for the palace was the same one you get with the app, so it's very easy to access. However, the Lisbon Card was more complicated because the downtown offices closed at lunchtime, which was the time we arrived. However, there was no problem getting it later.
The cour file ticket is super convenient! Too bad there aren't enough card collection points throughout the city.

So convenient. Practical, easy to use. Didnt work at earthquake museum or queluz or cathedral but did at lots of other places. Used it on buses trams trains and metro. Well worth the money. Thank you.
I used the Lisboa Card to access the Castle which made things a lot easier as I didn't have to queue to buy tickets. The Castle was quite amazing and had the best views of Lisbon.
Too many exceptions to where to use the card and some locations wasn't clear if they accepted it. Very few places to pickup the physical card. Most travelers don't have the time or patience to research all of this.
Excellent! Everything worked perfect, tickets, transportation, it is a great value for money especially the use we made of it in our pass through Lisbon.

The attraction itself was extraordinary, respectful for Portugese history and activities and arresting in its scope. However, for a first time visitor to Portugal, having staff to provide guidance on what was free, what had to be paid for and which line goes where, in advance of a visitor joining the line and standing in the sun for some time, before learning it was the wrong line. In short more guidance is needed to enhance appreciation of the great Lisbon sights and indeed a more efficient process would provide additional time to visit each sight and of course eat pastels!
The place is beautiful. I expected to see more in the cloister. The highlight was the painting that link the story of Joseph with the feeding of the 5000. What I did not like is the inefficiency of getting the people in. Just like the Pena Palace you can limit the people to certain time slots. Maybe have a faster way to scan the tickets and get people in. For the money paid for the ticket I expected to see more.
You wait a long time in line, even if you have bought your tickets a long time ago and supposedly and you already have the tickets there is an entrance without a line... in short a disaster, the place is wonderful but you spend at least 45-50min waiting in the sun.

Tickets worked but still had to queue despite pre-booking. For the price felt there wasn't much to see given the monastery was huge. Also, I didn't get to go into the prayer room, not sure if this was for VIP access or I missed a sign.
Beautiful architecture. Long line in morning, came back later and only waited about 10 min. Were able to go to mass in the church next door which is also beautiful. Beautiful, peaceful place.
Magnificent location, exceptional condition. Long queue and we had to get out again to visit the church. We didn't understand the direction of traffic.

Bought tickets to Pena Palace while in Lisbon and taxied to the town. Once there found that there were too many add ons once at the site. Ie; extra bus rides, other tour sites. There were many visitors there the day we went and found the interior tour boring due to length of time shuffling people through the two floors. Would skip that tour the next time. The old town visit part way down the hill after the castle was a highlight for us. Took the train back to what we thought as Lisbon but due to no visitor help at the station ended up on the wrong train.
Very nice place but exhausting line! For the experience with headout everything ok. Ease of purchase , ease of use.

Had no problems with the tickets. Something came up for our group so we got there later than planned and couldn't enter the actual palace. It was still a great experience just enjoying the terraces and taking lovely photos. We actually wished we'd paid for the park only as we didn't feel like we'd missed much, not entering the palace.
The castle is beautiful and very original, park a haven of peace very nice day without hitch.transport very well organized

An enjoyable day in the company of Paulo SILVA who is a very professional guide and ensures that everyone gets the most out of the tour. I gave 4 stars because the description of the visit to the castle gardens is ambiguous. In fact, the most beautiful gardens don't belong to Pena Palace, but to other castles not included in the tour.

The ticket process was easy. The palace was nice, but the walk up and the gardens are stunning 🤩 If you are fit enough I highly suggest taking the hike up in the morning.
The highlight of my visit was being able to find parking at the entrance to the garden after almost being scammed by the Tuk Tuk guys at the bottom of the hill. Luckily a local waived his finger to warn me not to park where guy was telling me to go. Garden was nice to hike up though on the sunny day. We did notice Giant Hogweed growing near path which is dangerous to touch though. The palace was amazing and the views are the best we have seen.

This place is perfect for a romantic stroll! The park is simply sublime! 🤩 We parked in Sintra and walked up to the palace through a park. It's a steep climb! But what satisfaction once we got to the top 😍

Very comfortable purchase and excellent experience. The palace and grounds are wonderful. The only downside is that the high number of visitors makes it a long wait before entering and also a bit forced to visit the interiors, which follows a bit of a processional rhythm, everyone proceeding at the same time and not much way to linger. Overall, however, very positive experience! As for the park, immense, full of surprises and tiring to get around (but absolutely worth it)
View original review in Italian
Online tickets were fast and easy. The park grounds weren't of much interest to us after seeing Moors castle and Pena Palace and all the walking for those sights. Pena Palace was ok. Not hugely glamorous. The mountaintop location is the most impressive thing.
Need a good half day to walk the grounds and palace. Didn't go inside but very satisfied with the outside areas. Steep walk up and not for someone with mobility issues.
Although the palace was very crowded, the place is incredible and we didn't have any problems with the tickets! We just queued up and waited for our turn to go in ☺️ It was amazing!

Beautiful and inspirational! Purchase your tickets online and the early time slot is the best. We arrived 20min prior to the 9:30 first showing and we were in the Monestary by 9:40. I did notice that the line got considerably longer and longer throughout the day. Definitely recommend visiting!
It was a great experience, just be mindful to arrive plenty of time ahead, to reach the palace it take around 10-15 walk uphill.
The tour was good. The palace is pretty amazing. The one thing that was a little bothersome was the fact that on the tkt it says that your time a lot is your time slot and will not be tolerated if missed, well it was , many ppl were arriving after their scheduled time. One thing that would be nice to be included is the length it can take to get from train station to the palace, the traffic was very congested and took longer than we thought it would. We were thankful we gave ourselves lots of time to get there
The castles are beautiful. They are worth visiting, but I do not recommend doing both visits on the same day. The distances between one and the other involve more than an hour's drive. The coaches run every 20 minutes. I wanted to stay longer at Quinta da Regaleira, and it was getting late to get into Quinta da Pena. I had to take a Bolt to get there on time. Calculate well the distances and how you are going to be able to travel.
